1.¡Aprendi a esquiar! – I learned how to ski!
Desde que llegue a Francia estuve con la intención de aprender a esquiar, pero apenas fue hasta a principios de este año que me puse juiciosa. No soy una experta, pero… no lo hago mal y bajo fácil las pistas azules. Para mi fue todo un reto porque pienso que aprender a esquiar de adulto es mas dificil.
Since I had arrived in France I had the intention of learning how to ski, but it was only until the beginning of this year that I really got serious. I’m not an expert but… I’m not too bad at it and now I can easily do the blue slopes. Skiing was really a challenge for me, as I think the older you are the harder it is to learn.

3.Reunidas en Miami celebrando el amour – Reunited in Miami celebrating love
Me reuní con mi combo de amigas en Miami par celebrar la boda de una de ellas. Cuando estas lejos, aprendes a valorar muchos más estos momentos juntas. Sin duda fue un fin de semana lleno de mucho amor.
I got together with my best friends in Miami to celebrate the wedding of one of them. When you live far away you learn to cherish the moments with the people you love. Without a doubt it was a weekend full of love!
4.Crucero en velero por Sicilia – Sailing around Sicily
Con la familia de mi novio hicimos un crucero en velero de dos semanas por las islas Eolias, al rededor de Sicilia. Aunque durante la travesía la pase terrible, fue una experiencia increíble y una que disfruto más y más cada vez.
With my boyfriend’s family, we sailed from the South of France to the Aeolian Islands, around Sicily. Even though I was sea sick during the first couple of days (especially the first one), it was an amazing experience and one which I enjoy more and more each time.
5.Paseo en familia por Europa – Family trip in Europe
Hicimos un paseo en familia por Europa durante dos semanas. Fuimos a Londres, Berlin, Praga, el sudoeste francés y San Sebastián. Fueron dos semanas en las cuales mi corazón se sintió pleno, feliz.
I made a two week trip with my family in Europe. We went to London, Berlin, Prague, the French Southwest and San Sebastián. It was two weeks in which my heart felt completely… happy.
6.París y Roma con dos de mis primas – París and Roma with cousins
Dos primas mias las cuales quiero como hermanas vinieron a Europa y pudimos pasear juntas. Como he dicho antes, son aquellas personas con las que viajamos las que pueden cambiar nuestra experiencia de viaje. Cada experiencia llega a ser única.
Two of my cousins who I love like sisters came to Europe and we were able to travel together. As I’ve said before, it is the people we travel with that can really make a difference in our trips. Each experience becomes unique.
7.Mudanza a Aberdeen, Escocia – Moving to Aberdeen, Scotland
Me mude a Escocia con mi novio y aunque todos los cambios son dificiles, lo tomo como una oportunidad para vivir nuevas experiencias. Para aprender mas de este lindo (y frío) país, de su gente, cultura, pero en especial de mi.
I moved to Scotland with my fiancé and even though change is always difficult, I take it as an opportunity to live different experiences. To learn more about this beautiful (and cold) country, about its people, culture, and especially about myself.
8.Masters
Empecé un MSc. en Estudios de Traducción con especialización en ingles, español y francés en la Universidad de Aberdeen. Así he podido conocer mas a fondo mi pasión por los idiomas y estoy realizando una de mis metas.
I began an MSc. in Translation Studies with an emphasis in English, Spanish and French at the University of Aberdeen. Through this Master I’ve been able to explore my passion for languages and I am fulfilling one of my goals.
9.Cerrando año en Colombia – Closing the year in Colombia!
Cerraré el año con una semana en la costa caribe colombiana y dos semanas en mi hermosa Medellín ¡con toda mi familia paisa!
I will close the year with one week in the Caribbean coast of Colombia and two weeks in my beautiful Medellín with all of my family!
